Carpet Land operates in the United Arab Emirates, and our business is governed by UAE law. Any dispute or claim relating to our website, products, or services will be handled under UAE law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page, so please check back periodically to stay informed.
1. Privacy Policy
We take the protection of your personal information seriously at Carpet Land. Here is a summary of how we collect, use, and safeguard it.
- We do not store, sell, share, rent, or lease your payment details or other personally identifiable information to third parties.
- When you use our website, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and delivery or installation address, solely to process and fulfil your order.
- Some adverts shown on our site come from third-party advertising partners, who may use cookies or similar technology to track browsing behaviour and display relevant ads. We do not control their data practices, and they fall outside the scope of this policy.
- Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience. You may disable them through your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with outside parties, except where required by law or necessary to fulfil your order – for example, sharing your address with our installation or delivery team.
Our privacy practices may be updated periodically to reflect current standards. We encourage customers to review this page occasionally, as changes apply from the date they are posted.
2. Eligibility
Our website and services are intended for adult customers only. Anyone under the age of 18 may not register an account or place an order with us. By confirming a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old under UAE law.
3. Made-to-Measure Carpets
Most of our carpets – including wall-to-wall broadloom, stitched, and custom-fitted carpets – are cut and finished according to the exact room measurements, material, colour, and pile type a customer specifies at the time of order. Because each order is prepared specifically for the customer, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges resulting from a change of mind or from measurements the customer provided incorrectly.
We strongly recommend that customers confirm room dimensions and product specifications before finalising an order.
4. Return Policy
As most of our carpets are cut and finished to individual specifications, we do not offer returns or exchanges once an order has been confirmed and cutting or stitching has begun. This applies to all carpet types and order values.
However, if your carpet arrives damaged due to mishandling during transit, Carpet Land takes full responsibility. We will arrange a replacement or another suitable resolution at no additional cost to you.
To qualify for a damaged goods claim, the issue must be reported at the time of delivery, before signing the delivery note or receipt. Claims made after the delivery document has been signed may not be accepted.
Where a shipment arrives damaged, we will resolve the matter either by refunding the original payment method or arranging a replacement, at our discretion.
5. Cancellation Policy
Because our carpets are made or cut to order, cancellation requests are only accepted in two situations: Carpet Land dispatched the wrong product, or the product was damaged in transit.
Outside of these situations, once cutting or stitching has begun, an order cannot be cancelled or changed. If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us immediately using the details at the bottom of this page.
6. Delivery & Installation Policy
Carpet Land delivers and installs carpets across the United Arab Emirates. All orders are dispatched from our warehouse, and an estimated delivery or installation window is shared once your order is confirmed.
While we make every effort to meet the agreed timeframe, delays caused by circumstances beyond our control do not make Carpet Land liable for any resulting losses.
7. Product Appearance Disclaimer
We do our best to represent our carpets accurately on the website. However, screen and monitor settings vary between devices, so the actual colour, texture, or pile of your carpet may appear slightly different in person than on screen. Carpet Land is not responsible for these minor variations.
Natural variation in fibre tone, weave, and pattern is also common and may differ slightly by batch or the size of the area covered. Measurements and specifications on our website are as accurate as possible, but small variations may occur and are not considered manufacturing defects.
8. Payment
We accept online payments via Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, processed in AED or another currency agreed at the time of purchase.
Payment information is transmitted directly to our payment processor through a secure, encrypted connection – Carpet Land does not store your card details on its own systems.
Customers are responsible for keeping a record of their transaction and for being familiar with our policies at the time of purchase.
If an order is delivered or installed in separate stages, each stage may appear as a separate charge on your card statement.
9. Service Area
Carpet Land supplies and installs carpets exclusively within the United Arab Emirates. We do not ship, deliver, or provide installation services outside the UAE under any circumstances.
Carpet Land will not provide products or services to any country, entity, or individual subject to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions, in line with applicable UAE law.
